I just finished reading an awesome book "Utmost Living: Creating and Savoring Your Best Life Now" by Tim Storey. I met Tim when he came to speak at our church in Odessa, TX. I believe that Tim is being a "Roaring Lamb" and I wanted to support his ministry as a Speaker and Pastor to the Stars as life coach to many famous celebrities in Hollywood from Tiger Woods, Kanye West, Smokey Robinson, to Charlie Sheen, Robert Downey Jr. and others so I bought his book. I recommend it to you as a current Real Estate Newbie and future Real Estate Millionaire. This book is so concise, head on, and inclusive of what the millionaire mindset is. His book talks about finding your "God Idea" and what you need to do achieve it. In my next podcast I will be talking about my own God Idea- Sara's Home. Many might not believe how it came about but let me assure you it's true and it's my purpose in life to share it with as many possible and dedicate my life to it.

This being the week of Thanksgiving and now only being days away from 2009, I've been thinking about what I'm grateful for, how my life has changed this year and what I want next year to look like. This morning I even spent about an hour visualizing where my life would be ten years from now and I was able to see a clear picture of what it is that I'm aiming for. One of the things that I enjoy from Tim's book are the different quotes scattered around so appropriately positioned to go with the text before and after. One of those quotes that stuck with me is "Work is love made visible" by Kahlil Gibran. I realize that everything we love takes work. Where we work the most is what we love the most. Somehow I knew that but it didn't hit home until now. As I refocus my energies on what is important, my goals, and where I want my love to be made visible, I ask you to meditate on this quote also and refocus your energies to do the same.

Jim Piccolo, Founder of Nouveau Riche said last night on our weekly conference call that he's thankful for the 4-Ps., "Faith, Family, Fortune, and Freedom". So am I. We all need faith. Faith in ourselves, faith in mankind, faith in a higher power. We all need family. Family to love and love us in return, to support and support us in return, to fellowship with. We all need fortune. Fortune to do good with, to make a difference, and to live an "Utmost" life. And we all need Freedom. Freedom to express ourselves, spend time as we choose, and most importantly, be our BEST selves.

What does all this have to do with real estate and real estate investing? Everything! We all have a "Millionaire Makeup" inside of us. A Millionaire Mind, A Millionaire Body, and A Millionaire Soul. We need to always be nourishing each part of our Millionaire selves. "Million" is not just a number. In it's truest form, it's the essence of being the BEST of ourselves. I'm not only a real estate newbie, learning the ropes of real estate investing; I'm also a Millionaire newbie, Life newbie, Entrepreuneur newbie, etc... In order to really be successful, one has to be always changing and adapting to change. In order to become a millionaire, I need to change my way of thinking, prepare myself mentally to accept change, and do the work needed to achieve success. To allow my "Millionaire Self" come out. I need to accept all the blessings my creator-God has prepared for me. Real Estate Investing is only a tool. It's a 3 out of 4 chance to reach financial freedom. But that freedom is what truly matters and it's my responsibility to do my very best with it.
