What do you do to disengage? Free your mind? Become clear? I just came back from a jog and will be getting ready to go to church on this beautiful Sunday morning. It’s been more than a few weeks since I’ve been on the trail and I’ve picked it up again a couple of days ago when I couldn’t de-stress any other way and I knew I had to strap on my running shoes. The truth is I’ve been so busy on my new venture as The Real Estate Newbie and being a wife & mom that I haven’t taken time off for myself. Jogging even though is action is my time off. It’s a time I use to speak and listen to my creator and really let all my thoughts and plans settle in my mind and let HIM sort them out and clear out all the noise that can cloud my thinking. Here is one Truth that has become evident during this moment of clarity.

I want to live a FULL Life! As I was jogging and was coming around to my imaginary finish line, I gave it all I had and pushed myself to break through my tiredness and I felt a burst of energy flow through my body as I ran faster & harder to finish strong. That’s how I want to live my life. I want to know that I gave it all I have. Someone said yesterday, “Don’t live your life in the middle. Being asleep and letting life pass you by because you were too scared to try something new and fail.” I asked myself, “Is that me?”. No, it’s not. But I have lived my life from time to time ¾ full. Going farther than someone else but not as far I know God can lead me. Not crossing the finish line strong and full of energy but spent and tired. No more. I now resolve to live a FULL Life. Mind, Body, Soul with Love, Laugh, and Life surrounded by Family, Friends, & my Community doing Greatness, creating Hope, while being in a state of Peace.
